In June 2018, my dad and I had an unforgettable trip to South Africa, where the warmth and hospitality of everyone we met made us feel like family. From being picked up at the airport by Cousin Peter to the incredible experience at the lodge with Bernadette and Brother Peter, every moment was special. The professional hunters were exceptional, and we created lifelong memories, highlighted by a video from Brother Peter that my dad and I still enjoy watching together. Bernadette's meals were amazing, and the stunning lodge added to the magic of the trip. It was truly life-changing, and I’m excited to return with my husband this summer. Hunting in Africa has always been on my bucket list! So when I was given the opportunity to be able to, I jumped! The beauty of Africa is unmatched and Buck Africa encompasses it in every aspect. You can immediately see the pride that Buck Africa takes in their operations, from the amazing accommodations, the outstanding guides to the mouth watering food that is cooked for you at days end. I was able to harvest my dream animal which was a Kudu and it is an experience I will never forget. I was also given the opportunity to get a sable and wildebeest! The trackers blew me away with the skill knowledge they had of every animal! This will always be the most memorable hunt of my lifetime and I can not wait to return!
